Why Alternatives Beauty School?
Alternatives Beauty School offers a cosmetology program while preparing you for Delaware state licensing exam. Our concentration is textured hair and business. We are conveniently located at the second largest mall in Delaware, the Concord Mall. It sits between Pennsylvania and Maryland. The advantage to students is by being licensed in Delaware they can get reciprocity in Pennsylvania and Maryland making them eligible for 3 state licenses!
Our Courses
Cosmetology
Learn business, natural hair care, coloring, haircutting, make up, skin care, styling, wig making, chemical services and nails. You will learn the basics in the theory class, then practice your skills–hands on, in a salon environment.
Esthetician Program
This program is designed to equip you with the necessary expertise to excel in the field of esthetics. Along with high-quality technical training students will learn career development skills such as client consultation, business tracking systems, and marketing strategies.
Nail Technician Program
This program is your golden ticket to mastering essential skills, earning a license through the State of Delaware, and gaining proficiency for entry-level positions in nail technology and related careers.
Natural Hair Care Certificate Program
Learn the basics of natural hair care, braiding, locking, twisting and wig making. Learn proper application of braid extensions and weaves. Students will also learn proper sanitation and business.
